I don't think I missed the point, I can see the tangent. NFL pushing BLM > BLM pushing an anti police agenda > 9/11. I think the way this is set up is silly.
If I wanted to illustrate the NFL's stupidity and hypocrisy, I'd show them a list of NFL banning people speaking out about righteous causes on the left, vs. support of BLM on the right, with terrible things that have happened (e.g., Jacob Blake's victim's family calling them out for supporting a rapist).
NFL banned so many things since 2012. Bible verse eye black. Brandon Marshall raising awareness for mental health disorders. Etc.
But Kaepernick thinks compliance and personal responsibility have no place in today's society so we are now where we are today? Nonsensical. Nobody should support the NFL now, but they lost my support a long time ago.
