Only way I can think of responding is typically, "well, at the time, 80% of Hispanic women crossing the border were raped by other illegals or coyotes." But if anyone has anything better for a rebuttal I'm all ears.
Your response is the best. Back it up with the Huffington Post article where that 80% bit was the headline. There can't refute a left leaning source so they're forced to either defend rape or drop that angle of attack on Trump. Once you can scratch the veneer of their worldview, they'll pick at it on their own til it falls apart.
