Many older more conservative people use absentee ballots. The delayed mail-in ballots ended up going for a Republican in a recent California election. How extra delicious would that kind of victory be. Hey, a guy can dream, right?

I believe that IF you are going to allow mail in ballots, (no district should), the ballots must be RECEIVED AND COUNTED by election day. Absentee ballots must also be received and counted by election day.
None of these so-called "trickle in" ballots should be allowed. If you are going to mail in your ballot make damn sure it gets there BEFORE election day.
