I have family the put up a trump sign recently. It came down immediately when their teenage child came home and burst into tears in fear of what their friends will think. Maybe your neighbor has a similar situation.

I'm 34 years old and the Thought of me crying to my dad as a teenager about what my friends would think about his political opinion makes me flinch. My dad is an amazing dad but he would have never allowed me or my friends to dictate what he liked or did to his home.

I feel 100 years old saying this, but this is what's wrong with kids today. They feel like they have to be the model of perfection and they freak out when things don't go their way.

Parents have been embarrassing since the beginning of time, that used to be a given, everyone had embarrassing parents. You dealt with it and moved on.

Do you have kids? I don't, but I'd like to think I could raise them to stand strong enough against peer pressure to have their own beliefs. I'm also not naive enough to rule out leftists intentionally using this behavior to push their propaganda.
