They don't want there to be anything left of "America".

Think bigger: They don't want anything left of America, or science, or truth, or justice, or independent thought, or families, or courage, etc., etc., etc.

In order to usher in globalist communism they have to erase all history that involves freedom and individualism. They can't wait to erase the founding fathers from history. In they succeed, a few generations from now kids will never even hear about George Washington or the US Revolutionary War. They will believe bad whites took land from peaceful non whites and whites must eternally submit to their betters.

I'm an engineering professor. I see kernels of conservatism at work, but most are too afraid to say or do much. It's not dissimilar to society in that we are being driven off the rails by a vocal minority. Granted, in the sociology dept. they are the absolute majority.

English here, have taught at the public schools as well, I see the same things. Oddly, the public schools are at present a bastion of conservativism in this region, but the local colleges have become liberal la-la land (even 5 years ago they weren't that bad, and there are still people there, they just really keep quiet now). So, guess where most of the replacement teachers come from :/

I've read that nutty German prof's paper on how Tolkein was engaging in white supremacy because he refused to show the personhood of the orcs -- that's where the latest bit came from. You could almost hear the REEE in that article, see the spittle coming out of his soylent grin stretched mouth. In short, the exact opposite of what an academic paper is supposed to be.

Wagner gets to stay in the closet, methinks. By the way, thanks for bringing up one of my least favorite classical composers...he had a few pieces, but the overall library I find so tediously heavy and didactic. A shame that he often one of the first that people think of when they consider German classical music, which is overall superb.

I saw a Beetlejuice meme the other day and it occured to me they haven't attacked it yet. And that idea is related to the OP's article.

Apparently there was a study done, and it showed Americans, but specifically liberal Americans, saw black Americans as magical in one sense or another. Well, the whole theme of Beetlejuice is whitey uber liberals taking part in black Caribbean magix, with the end of the show being the only black person is literally magical:

https://youtu.be/LWXwuhboZpA

The show was probably not cannibalized by the Left since the whole movie is essentially anti-white (whities have boring hobbies like making model townscapes and post-modern sculptures, and are saved by death and magical black people culture).

Oh yeah, instead of giving context for other cultures and societies we'll just forget about them instead so they can't hurt peoples feelings. That'll show them racists.

As someone who loves history, it's sad to see what people will do to erase and rewrite it to fix their own narrative and lies. Of course this has been going on for decades and they are just now not attempting to hide it, but still.

It's times like this where you have to go to the beginning and find the answers you seek for yourself. Cause you won't be finding it in the places where you are supposed to be able to.

This is truly a generation with nothing of their own, no battles to fight, no ties to the past. It’s quite literally “the worst generation.”

It’s not all their fault, because generations before them worked hard to achieve this through indoctrination, but if we don’t overcome this as a society, I’m sincerely afraid it’s the end as we know it.

15
Izaritos 15 points ago +15 / -0

Agree completely. We have no foundations, moral, religious, or historical because its been stripped from us. Anyone seemingly born before the 20th century is a barbarian, excepting the exceptional few we learn about.

I realized that at least those people had something they could fight and had solid foundations upon which to build themselves up.

How can someone build themselves up when that very foundations is spat on and buried? They teach us the bare minimum to pass tests. It's legit a crime and no one cares.

I mean kids who were raised with conflict in their lives tend to mature faster and become more independent relative to their golden pacifier peers. They know what the real world is like early and take steps to secure themselves before anyone else even realizes what the real world is.

I feel like allowances, participation trophies, helicopter parenting, sparing the rod (but not striking out of anger), not teaching actual life skills, and pushing college as the only way to succeed has really fucked us up.

I'm not saying purposefully withdraw essentials to survival so your kid can grow up big and strong lol. I'm saying let your kids fail in a controlled environment so they can learn instead of waiting for them to make a massive mistake down the road. (Like learning finances in college after taking out a 20k loan. Isn't that hilarious?)

Don't reward them for existing or breathing. Punish them when they fuck up and explain why what they did was wrong.

Raise them with a moral backing that is unyielding. (The Holy Bible of the New Testament. Christianity, not Juedo- bullshit is the backing of western society. Teach them how the Bible and the late Roman Empire influenced our laws and systems. Teach them taxes and stepping on rights is what made the revolutionaries upset but GUN CONFISCATION is what set off the war.)

I'm not sure if rewarding kids with money for chores is a good idea or not since I was told sometimes you have to do something for the sake of doing it without expecting a reward. (Discipline) and teaching capitalism can be done in another setting. But it's also hard to teach capitalism without the kids earning their own money unless you gave them a balance at a special event or something.

I also just love how, in their frantic efforts to "confront racism", they behave in the most racist of ways. It isn't as though Eurasians don't have their own history of primitivism and savagery during the process of developing civilization. Bog people anyone? Hell, many Greco-Roman religious rites are something I'm kinda glad don't exist anymore (nor do I want to see a comeback).

The truth is, that scratch the surface of even the most civilized person on the planet, and there's a spear chucking, cargo cultist, cannibal just waiting to get out. And perhaps that's the thing these commie bastards want us to forget -- so they can degrade us more. Let's face it: if you think you're physically beyond such things, then there really are no needs for the constraints of morality, ethics, law...for civilization. The folks in power want to turn us back into troglodytes, Morlocks who feed on each other rather than the Eloi.

A lot of people might think about the removal of certain objects or the idea of restitution as a loss, but what we are trying to show is that we aren’t losing anything but creating space for more expansive stories

A very long time ago, my parents took my brother and I to Mesa Verde Colorado. A beautiful place with ancient pueblo ruins up in the cliffs. The people who lived there disappeared and they're still not sure what happened to them. The explorers had found a perfectly preserved mummy in one of the pueblos and it was on display in the museum there. Years later I went back and the mummy was gone. I asked the guide working there what happened to it and he said it had been put up because native Americans had voiced a complaint over a dead ancestor being on display. I was then asked (very caustically) if I would like my dead grandmother to be put on display for everyone to look at.

It was fascinating to see how well preserved the mummy was but I do get that some people's culture is against this. Not sure how this should be handled but I seriously doubt their gesture of goodwill will make everyone happy.

12
ApprenticeParty 12 points ago +12 / -0

I'd much rather have my mummified grandmother in a storage container somewhere rather than on display to help people learn about my heritage. Way to go!

These people are so ridiculous.

9
Fandigo 9 points ago +9 / -0

"Native American" groups are mostly run by 99% white larpers trying to cash in on the scam of their cultural heritage. For every construction site that finds any remains even if its 2000 years old, they automatically get to charge the company a nice fee to perform a burial, or else they'll sue. It's all a huge racket.

These tribes didn't even exist 200 years ago. In fact, most graves in the United States over 100 years old are considered abandoned if no one comes forward to claim the body, so they typically remove the bodies and reuse the plot for another body or sell the land to build something else over it. There are tons of buildings all over the US built over actual grave sites of white Americans. It yeah, we treat ancient native american grave sites better than "recent" grave sites.

As for the mummy, in certain tribes it was perfectly okay to display bodies of dead relatives. A lot of cultures actually do this, hence why they mummify the body, to preserve it as best as they can. The larpers who removed the body are likely virtue signaling whites or race baiting 1% native americans. It all just gets so old.

3
THELEADERSOFMEN 3 points ago +3 / -0

Right, they kept the skulls in the lodge with them in some instances. So why not give them more visitors, more admirers.

Also, as for the remains of whites, look at Europe. People were so crowded in the Middle Ages that you can’t drop a rock on the ground without it landing on a mass grave. Hell, think about the catacombs, people arranged the bones into decorative patterns, because what else could you do with so many of them? And they’re STILL public attractions!

It’s really sad to think the last bastion of human cultural variety could very well end up being the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museums! We got their guidebook from the one in Branson and the shrunken head is right there featured on the cover. Actually a very cool place full of significant artifacts, it could very well be the least dumb thing about Branson or Gatlinburg or any other tourist spot.

1

It's just a fact. Moreso in Europe seeing as people have lived there for thousands of years. Notice Manhattan island has no grave sites? Obviously they existed since people have been living there for almost 400 years. They were at multiple points moved to other locations or thrown in an unmarked grave. its just the cycle of life, we can't have sentimental value over long dead bones of forgotten people we have no relationship or memory of.

They routinely dig up my ancestors all around the Med -- there's a whole museum dedicated to seeing my burnt to a crisp ancestors at Pompeii. And how about the Egyptians mummies? The Indians need to get over themselves a bit.

3
tufftoffee 3 points ago +3 / -0

Why the fuck do Indians get reservations? Do we let Mexico keep half of Texas while still keeping the whole state in our union? Why is South Dakota half Indian reservations? Why not just cut out half of South Dakota since clearly not all of it is owned and run by Americans?

We fought. We won. Get the fuck over it or get out Indians. It's a tale as old as time.

4
operator1214 4 points ago +4 / -0

The concept of the Indian reservation does rather harken back to the idea that the Indians would never be assimilated, nor capable of acting of their own agency without the "help" of the white man. In short, a fairly racist idea. And one the progressives greatly desire to keep: people have brought up allowing individual Indians/Indian families buy their own property and get rid of the reservations; granted, no more semi-autonomous enclaves, but they would no longer be wards of the federal gov't (and if you think about it -- they'd have more autonomy as a town/municipality/county where they were the majority of voters anyway)....but that's been shot down multiple times by the usual suspects (including some within the tribes). The rez system is a big old racket.

3
tufftoffee 3 points ago +3 / -0

Semi-autonomous is not autonomous. Semi-sovereignty is not truly sovereign. Most Indians don't even stay at the reserves. They commute to work with everyone else too. There is NO reason to make our nation more fractured and needing a blood test to live in a part of America. We fought to get rid of bloodline based bullshit.

Someone could have a drop of Indian blood but live having nothing to do with Indian culture. Same difference with non assimilation immigrants and affirmative action. Someone could technically be black, Hispanic, etc and snatch up that sweet free money for breathing even if that isn't AA's intent (whatever its intent actually is).

If AA and other such examples attempted to fix this with some purity test that would be on a whole other level. But hispanics, blacks, and other minorites already do this in their own communities. Ask me how I know. (Really you should ask my sister. Says I don't deserve AA and I'm a cracker. Hah.)

Just goes to show how great this "melting pot" crockshit is. Someone said it's more like a tossed salad and they are right. Restriction and division everywhere, just different patches in different flavors.

Segregation is all the same regardless of the name. We never truly abolished it.

2
operator1214 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's why I said they'd have more real autonomy with no reservations...as it is, they are essentially wards of the state. The reservation system promises to give them autonomy (and in a sense, as it does provide separate governance to a degree, it could be classified as a semi-autonomous zone) -- but it doesn't provide them with individual liberty vis a vis land ownership. (and Elizabeth Warren voted to keep it that way, fyi...the bitch)

My grandmother was mixed -- metis and creole --.and yes, they were white (because better than half white, light complexioned for the most part -- aka. white). I think there's a way to be your own self and yet part of a larger group. My ancestry is my past; I can't change it (even if I wanted to); there's no way I'm going to be exactly the same as my Anglo Protestant neighbors (even if I wanted to); but I think we could have some commonalities we can agree upon (well, except for the libtards...they seem to hate America; wish they'd leave).

8
FireannDireach 8 points ago +8 / -0

The museum, known as one of the world’s leading institutions for anthropology, ethnography and archaeology, had faced charges of racism and cultural insensitivity because it continued to display the items, The Associated Press reported. Museum director Laura Van Broekhoven told the outlet that visitors of the museum viewed the displays as “testament to other cultures being ‘savage’, ‘primitive’ or ‘gruesome’” and “reinforced racist and stereotypical thinking.”

But those cultures WERE primitive. And, we've done more to preserve their histories than their actual ancestors. Taking human heads as trophies IS gruesome. And it happened, and happened with no intervention or influence of white people.

This is literal censorship. Returning artifacts to their homeland, that's one thing - like returning sculptures to Egypt. But a lot of this material wouldn't exist if the Universities and museums didn't preserve and record them.

These people are book burners.

“A lot of people might think about the removal of certain objects or the idea of restitution as a loss, but what we are trying to show is that we aren’t losing anything but creating space for more expansive stories,” said Marenka Thompson-Odlum, a research associate who curated several of the new displays. “That is at the heart of decolonization.”

So an african in a european city is destroying displays of south-american and egyptian exhibits? Should she be expelled too.. thrown out of the country, to decolonise? Maybe shes just a scum piece of shit out to ruin the museum and generated a bunch of gibberish as an excuse to bluff her way to stay and keep doing harm rather than get fired.

If you need more space, why not expand the museum rather than destroying exhibits?

You definitely should not find out that those peaceful natives would remove peoples faces/heads from the skull, and then boil the skin/face in water until it shrinks, and then fill it with sand to fill it in, so they can then use it as a ceremonial object to control the dead person's spirit.

By the way, my religion says to love all people and my god was a carpenter, go figure.
