If Newt was doing anything pertaining to Nazism (he wasn't), he was essentially calling out Fox for Goebbel's-like censorship for not being allowed to mention overload Soros' name on Fox's contrrolled oppo program.
Soros was a 14 year old Jewish boy who was forced to pose as a Christian with his benefactor so he would not be identified by the SS as a Jew. The actual horror is that Soros says he feels no guilt or any real feelings of responsibility when accompanying his benefactor to the homes of captured Jews, some presumably he may have even known. Perhaps that is his an adaptation to trauma, a suppression reaction, or even Stockholm syndrome to survive the horrors he saw.
Could it be that those years, which he called the years his "character was made," helped galvanize his resolve to defeat the "evil threat" (of powerful Christendom? Toward the equally powerful Jews?) If so, that doesn't make him a Nazi at all.
