That kind of willingness to objectively examine things and try them out, and to change one's mind given new evidence, is the mentality that separates compatible American liberalism from the extremist leftist mentality that will not discuss or allow themselves to see any other point of view than their own predetermined conclusions.

I'm wrong, more times that I care to admit. Owning up to being wrong is in my eyes the right move and also the morally correct path to lay it out there. Also everyone around you respects you and (as a leader/boss) know they can admit a mistake and won't be shunned.
