I am one of 10 (9th of 10) it becomes about trust and consequences, once a kid hits a certain age (roughly 8-9) they are expected to follow the rote rules and the oldest kids are like veterans that are expected to help the the greenhorns stay in line. My older brother was responsible for all the younger kids brushing teeth at night and one of my older sisters was in charge of making sure everyone was up in the morning and got dressed for school on time. It was chaos but I loved it.
Imagine bedtime 🥴
Dinner, dishes, bath time, laundry, get back to your room, potty... It's crazy with 4. I can't imagine 10.
Once the first few get older, I've heard it gets easier. You learn to delegate.
At least, my 14 aunts/uncles on my dad's side say that's the case.
My Grandpa is one of 16!
Bless my polish great grandmother. :)
