I am currently at war with my 12th grader’s government teacher for horrendous bias in class. First he had an assignment where students had to link 10 videos about current events - and the could only use CNN. I wrote him an email concerning this and he assured me that there was no bias, but rather that CNN had a student portal site that had non-political videos. I gave him a pass on this after searching the site and found it to be fairly non-political with a few hints of bias, but nothing horribly overt. Then yesterday he said that Trump instructed his supporters to “vote twice” and that “absentee ballots are the same as mail in ballots”. I grabbed my son’s computer and challenged him with facts and he just ignored me. Since then we have exchanged emails about 6 times and I told him I would be with my watching with my son every day and if it continues I would be going to the principal, school board and city council if necessary. He was snarky and upset - I am sure because now his agenda will have to be rewritten because someone is watching other than impressionable students.

I for one am glad this pandemic allowed me to see what is really going on in there.

I am sure the progressive teachers are pissing themselves right now.

My Senior Civics class was literally watching CNN Student News every day. This was 5 years ago.
