No, the system is NOT good. It's effective for producing economic units. It is dehumanizing and utterly destructive to families for parents and children to be separated for the majority of the children's formative years AND TO BE COMPELLED BY LAW TO DO SO.

Homeschooling is the future. I have 2 homeschooled kids and one foster kid doing e-learning from charter school because of covid. My wife is surprised at how little learning is taking place with e-learning. The school model is antiquated and is just an indoctrination station.
