I wish my S/O had situational awareness. Not only does he lack having it, but he also has no sense of danger. There was another time when we went into a fast food restaurant and some homeless man was in the dinning area screaming and throwing food/chairs around, and when I tell him we should go, he looks at me bewildered as to why I'd want to leave. It's irrelevant what "black means". The more black gene you have, the more likely it is to end up bad. So a person with only 25% black and 75% white is statistically much better off than one that is 75% black and 25% white.

It started in the sixties. The old rules were that you got more benefits for having more kids but you got no benefits if there was a man in the house supporting the family. I wish my S/O had situational awareness. Not only does he lack having it, but he also has no sense of danger. There was one occasion when we were in Houston and he stopped at a gas station late at night, there were a group of feral looking joggers hanging out by the door and he gets out of school he car and walks right on by like they're not even there. There was another time when we went into a fast food restaurant and some homeless man was in the dinning area screaming and throwing food/chairs around, and when I tell him we should go, he looks at me bewildered as to why I'd want to leave. He said he wouldn't have thought it was a problem because we'd just sit away from the crazy homeless dude having a psychotic episode.
I've had many times where we both get home at the same time, park on the street, and he walks right by me without noticing I'm 30 feet from him. 70% of the time he doesn't notice.
He has a gun. I can't use one safely because I have a disability that causes poor balance. I have to put my trust in him, but he's shown he has no ability to keep us safe. I wish I knew what to do.

It's irrelevant what "black means". The more black gene you have, the more likely it is to end up bad. So a person with only 25% black and 75% white is statistically much better off than one that is 75% black and 25% white.

That means that a white or asian boy with no father and no money needs less resources and support than a black boy in the same situation in order to not become a criminal.

It started in the sixties. The old rules were that you got more benefits for having more kids but you got no benefits if there was a man in the house supporting the family. So the men got accustomed to not raising their kids and the women got accustomed to living off welfare and not having a man around.
A few generations of growing up without fathers has basically ruined the black community and turned it into a matriarchal society where the women raise the kids in a group and the men all join gangs and end up dead or in prison. And it's spread to the white and hispanic communities as well, but much less.
The typical pattern I've personally observed is:
To put it simply, if you grow up in a family where the dad is an engineer who takes care of the family and disciplines you when you get out of line, you're going to grow up to expect the men you date to behave like your dad to a certain extent. You're not going to dump your doctor, lawyer, engineer boyfriend to get pregnant by a soundcloud rapper because that would be fucking dumb. But if you got raised by your grandma and your aunt and the only men you meet growing up are the loser fuckboys that those women bring around... you're going to grow up to think that dating fuckboys and not getting supported is normal.
None of this is the legacy of slavery. Black people had nuclear families with marriage and men in the house back during Jim Crow. This all fell apart in the sixties when they brought in welfare.
