Meanwhile, city employees were never furloughed or asked to cut pay to save any money while Mayor Cooper put business owners on the street.

EDIT: Tennessee State tax revenues are up. Nashville hasn't been very open with their revenue numbers as they are asking the State for additional funding. The city's revenue may actually be down sine they have been closed compared to the rest of the state.

Without a voting demographic that feels like they have been given a raw deal, the Democrats wouldn't have a party at all.
