Wait a minute. 34% tax hike? How does that work? Seriously asking.

3% -> 4% property taxes is a 33.3% hike. I'm sure the supporters say "it's only a 1% increase!". I have no idea what the Nashville tax hike was about, so just giving an example.

Franklin is just Nashville lite.

Try out Cheatham county....very close to Nashville but without the cuckery.

I dont know, I think it is just for nashville, but others may try to follow suit. But it really is a great place overall. I never thought id move to TN, but after coming here I bought a house in a year. It was a great decision even if the democratic leadership here sucks. Franklin is getting expensive though. I would recommend scouting out the geography and finding a place you like. I hear Pleasant view is nice, I think Hickok45 lives out there.

The tax hikes in Nashville won’t apply to Williamson County.

Franklin & Brentwood are great places to raise a family, as are many places in the counties surrounding Metro Nashville-Davidson County. It depends on the neighborhood, obviously, but the good far outweighs the bad.

Williamson County arguably has the best public schools in the state, and there are many private/religious options.

Destruction and death are coming for all of this, like every other good thing in America, unless we stop it.
