South Carolina isn't far behind, either. We're one of the top states for NY and NJ transplants right now. So Texas gets Cali transplants, the Carolinas get NY/NJ transplants.
Moved there from TN a few years back, couldn't believe how many Blue/Gold NY license plates I would see. Moved out pronto. The locals (those left anyway) fucking hated it
My ex lives in NC. Didn't take her long to start being influenced by the leftist retards in the city in spite of identifying as "conservative." Within a year, I noticed her questions started to show a growing ignorance of the political climate. I gathered she became increasingly more ashamed to identify as a conservative.
Then she started dating a snowflake who was grossly offended by my pro-Trump texts. Sad, but not unexpected. The state is a damn disaster. I do hope he cries himself to sleep at night because her exbf (me) was "such a big meanie who loves orange man."
(Bonus for me though--I've got a choice of based women from church.)
