I agree. These people left their shit states and will make Texas shit if they don't actually assimilate.

There is more to this than “oops, guess ill move and live here now”.

Everything is getting more tribal because of this. Im starting to believe leftists are not redeemable.

Im starting to believe leftists are not redeemable.

I reached that point a long time ago. This is why the state-level electoral colleges must be implemented. If a child keeps sticking Legos up their nose, you don't keep giving them Legos. If morons want to keep taking freedom away and making more places unlivable, you take those options away from them.

It has to be made so that the good places made good by better policies and people are unattractive to the Left. Knowing they can't simply overwhelm the population and take over by sheer numbers is the best way to achieve that goal. The Left never wins on their policies or ideas. The idea of "Turning Texas Blue" isn't based on saying, "We'll convince them our ideas are better." It's based on saying, "We'll just ship in enough people who already agree with us to outnumber everyone else. If that doesn't work, we'll sue."

Agreed. However I doubt they are smart enough to smell their own shit. At this point it smells good to them. Hence the non-redeemable comment I made. Just make sure you have a backup plan. Meaning, buy lots of ammo.

I honestly don't know why our founders didn't implement a state-wide electoral college system. The state is simply a micro nation and mirrors the same circumstances.

It's completely fucked the NYC has ruled all of New York since the beginning of time. That is neither fair or equitable for anyone.

They talked for years about the upstate region breaking off to form their own state. Long Island (Nassau/Suffolk) floated the idea for a long time, too. They both should have made the move a long time ago. It's not too late, but they'll never man up and do it. They fall for the crap that they would never survive without the NYC money. Truth is, they would actually get to keep their revenue instead of being taxed to death to support NYC and they can let NYC fend for itself.

Except all the people I know in my neighborhood that came from out of state are ALL based as fuck. They have flags on their yards and guess what, the looney lefties I've met are native Texans.

This has been mentioned here before that a lot of these Texas lefties were born here in places like Houston, Dallas and Austin. They've been spreading out around the state. There's a shit ton of based folks moving to Texas because of things like better gun laws, no state income tax and so on. My closest neighbors all moved here from out of state, two from CA, one from the NE (Boston) and another from Portland, OR. Based folks.
