I can’t think of an easier way to spread germs than using the same head thermometer on everyone as they walk in.
We went into a restaurant last weekend and they took our temperature. I sat down at the booth, looked at my girlfriend and said, “We’re never coming here again.”
Yeah most likely, but they aren’t wiping it down between people, and if the so called experts say it’s “airborne” which is why a lot of restaurant that opened for inside dining refused to put the AC on during the summertime around here, then waving their hands in my face wouldn’t be a very good idea, right? And who the hell is going out if they have a temperature anyways? It’s so ridiculous.
Regardless if it’s airborne or not, I don’t want a strangers nasty ass hands waving around my face to begin with. COVID or no COVID, the average person’s hands are disgusting and I don’t want them anywhere near me.
Not to mention, these aren’t registered nurses or doctors taking my temperature it’s teenagers with no experience elsewhere.
The rules they put in place are so fucking ridiculous and laughably hypocritical, it’s foolish.
I tried going out to eat a week or so ago at a restaurant I hadn’t been to since they reopened and after the state force them to close. I ordered a steak. I was served a stake in a to go container with plastic knife. After speaking with the manager, who denied me a steak knife, due to health regulations saying that it is too dangerous to serve a meal on real plates with a real silverware “because the servers would touch the plate” but apparently the servers didn’t touch them to go container to bring it to my table?
I tried in the steak but after breaking several plastic knives I got the manager again who gave me a refund on the steak, paid for my appetizers and drinks and left.
