That, or my thought seeing it, was the hole was in his lung, so each breath he takes is filling his chest cavity with more air, collapsing his lung.
Either way, guy fucked up breaking two laws at once (drugs & drugs+gun), got scared, and tried to evade arrest. Which is fucking stupid, as 1) the cop had just looked at his ID (should've called it in), and still has his new car, so they can get a warrant out for his arrest, and 2) he dropped his ID, for the same eventual outcome.
He was already fucked for having some weed and a gun, but perhaps had more, and was royally fucked. Still, rolled the dice and struck out, should've taken his lumps like a big boy, not ran like a child.
