Well, to be fair, there was something that is close to the flu that caused deaths, but we are talking about a very minor death count. Here are the numbers - and be reminded that I checked Germany, Britain, Sweden and partly US, and numbers were often overblown - and for some reason Britain had it worst, which is still only 0.14% of the population - and be reminded that these are official numbers and are therefore possibly overblown as well:

Family member A gets tested and positive - contact tracers discover 4 add'l people in that household - guess what, add 4 cases to the daily count.

Taking a vaccine for covid makes no sense for most people, taking a rushed one that skipped animal testing and the companies all forced governments to assume liability because it's too risky makes sense for literally no one. However, if it makes dumb people go back to normal I'm fine with it.
My only concern would be that people will blame him if it causes problems. They'll blame him for everything anyway though, and it won't be until after the election, at which point who cares what they think.

That makes no sense, they need people alive to rule over and have power, and to make money for them, and they don't seem to have much trouble controlling and manipulating societies all over the world despite the high populations, so what would any powerful elite have to gain by murdering huge swathes of people with vaccines? It's like saying a fox would burn the hen house down when he's already in it and taking the chicken's eggs whenever he feels like.

The virus will still be wiped out even if people don't take the vaccine. The vaccine simply accelerates the process of getting enough people with immunity. Plus it doesn't matter if a certain amount of the population doesn't want it because the vaccine will be hard to get when it is first approved. Not getting the vaccine simply helps other people get it quicker who probably need it more.
Problem is if you don't get it, good luck entering any business, working your job, or flying anywhere. Nazi-esque vaccine certificates are in our near future
Once all remedy options to the CCP virus are available and all efforts to create remedies have been completely accomplished as much as humanly possible, states can be forced to reopen and courts are more likely to side with reopening because refusing to reopen will start to be seen as a rejection of many available remedies and therapeutics.
Virginia's Governor Coonman begs to differ. Mandatory vaccination is already announced. Only punishments for non-compliance have yet to have been announced.
From what I can gather, the vaccine isn’t popular even amongst the very scared. I really don’t think they’ll be able to get away with mandatory vaccination.
If Gov. Abbott came up to me and said "jump into this pool of C19 infected water and show us that you'll be OK afterwards, and I'll end the shutdowns and mask orders"... I'd do it. I've caught just about every bug out there and got over it in days. As kids we would drink water from the sidewalk gutter using our Otter Pop wrappers. I'm that confident with my own immune system and know I could get over anything but beyond all of that, we all know we've been duped.
I personally will never take this vaccine. But if scared leftists need this to get out of the lockdown, then I'm happy that it's here so fast.
