Is that what is going around now in the anti-vaccine circles? That the vaccine is made up of aborted children? More details, please.

In 1972, a cell culture grown from a fetus has been maintained and widely used to create a variety of vaccines for chickenpox, rabies and rubella for almost 50 years.

Cell lines can be classified as: 1) Endothelial such as BAE-1; 2) Epithelial such as HeLa; 3) Neuronal such as SH-SY5Y; 4) Fibroblast such as MRC-5.

HeLa stands for Henrietta Lacks. A young black mother who died in 1951. Her cancer cells were remarkable in how hardy and resistant they are. Fascinating story if you ever get chance to read on it.

Some - NOT all - of the virus vaccines are using aborted baby cells in them. I'm not sure exactly of how admittedly, but some of the vaccines in development use them.
