I mentioned it elsewhere but GEOTUS speaking his bland "Presidential" sh-t from the script is like watching a Lion, King Of The Jungle desperate to break out of his zoo enclosure - when he goes off-the-cuff he's literally fall-down-from-laughing FUUUNNNNY. I LOVE watching his rallies (hope to ATTEND one before I die).
Another analogy: being a Sam Kinison FANATIC to this day, I'd always always always wanted to see his late 1991 7-episode (before it was yanked) "Charlie Hoover" tv series with Tim Matheson (Sam plays Tim's 'id/ego' little guy he talks to). It FINALLY after all these years became available on youtube just recently. I see now why it was an epic fail - Matheson is a brilliant comedic actor (should have got an Oscar for "Otter" role in Animal House) and Kinison, well, is Kinison but whoever WROTE that shit I hope was BANNED from the entertainment world - appalling. They were on a LEASH/muzzled. It was just SAD.
Another Kinison I've been looking for since 1989 as I watched it live. The "Later....with Bob Costas Show". Damn near ALL the episodes are on youtube except for Kinison. It was at that point I started viscerally HATING Costas and he's done/said nothing to change my mind since. He just NAGGED Kinison the entire 30 minutes for his 'foul and profane, disgusting, homophobic' yada yada humor. You could tell Kinison wanted to STRANGLE him at one point.

I know the 'what if' game is futile, but I GENUINELY wonder what the truly "edgy" and intellectually thought provoking comedians WOULD think of the current unhinged insanity? Lenny Bruce, Sam Kinison, Pryor, my personal favorite Bill Hicks, Carlin, etc?
