Orange County is arguably the best place in the world to raise children. Top 1% of the 1% of schools nationwide, clean, safe, amazing year round weather. People always B & M about it being boring and cookie cutter, but if people's idea of exciting is Portland I think I'll pass.
I'll take it further back, as my brother lived in San Clemente in the 80s and I visited many times; by 1993 (hadn't been there since around '88) the local populations of San Clemente, Capo Beach, Costa Mesa, and parts of Dana Point had deteriorated from meth use, plus a lot of boarded up commercial real estate by then. Appalling. Orange County is gorgeous.
Being from the Midwest, I have always wondered how people could bike to work and not show up all hot and sweaty in their suits. Please educate me. 17miles wow!
17 miles at 6am. On Mondays I would pack clothes to change in and on Fridays I'd bring it back. 2 pairs of khakis and 3 shirts. No shower so had to wash up with washcloth (cat bath). On the way home I didn't care lol. Other places I've worked at have showers and lockers so it's much easier to do.
Living in OC off and on since '77 but just cannot take it anymore, it is slowly deteriorating. We've already made the decision to move to Pensacola in January. Lived in Florida before and loved........
Yup. First large CA County to show some teeth. Should be interesting.
Several of the tiny population counties in northeast CA ignored most of the mandatory lockdowns. They were remote and small enough to escape the wrath of the Sac.
LIved in OC my entire life, still do. We're red AF but dead bodies flipped us blue in 2018. This is a RED county. Don't know 1 single. not 1 single Biden voter.
I know one... they are from LA but live in Irvine cause LA has too much crime... well DuH! Keep voting the way you did and it will eventually turn into a shithole. All his neighbors are Trump supporters though. Serves him right haha
Ooo it's super bad.... never in the history of human life has there ever been an entire state public forest system been completely shut down n up to $5000 ticket just setting foot on anything that ain't private land... n they only refunding premium elk draw hunts n all the expensive Shit, I totally rely on filling my freezer... rifle opener supposed to b Saturday... might go pop me sum crackheads... half tempted.... <3 MAGA2020
Love it. Lived in Orange County until 2 1/2 years ago. Thought I had found freedom, now in under Kate Bitch Brown. 😭

OC is not comparable now to what it was before 2010. Gone down the shitter slowly.

you moved to OR to find freedom from CA? Sorry pede but I can't help but lmfao
Southern Oregon is nice, except for the Governor. Before this year with the Socialist lockdown her BS didn’t affect us much.
Wow...
Interesting letter

Did Bohemian grove burn? Cause that would have been a shame
Witholding funds could go both ways. I guarantee you OC pays CA more than it gets. Their taxes should be held from going to the state.
