My new method.. Recently I decided to take a week off from news and am now going to start cycling about one week on one week off of news. The break was remarkable for my sanity while I'm still informed after reviewing what I'd missed once I come back.

I have a discord channel with 12 like minded friends. We riff off of each other with humor or just chatting about the absolute clown world we're all living in at this point and how it came to this point. The strong will survive.
Same here. Small group, no butthurt, no offense, no bullshit. Smaller groups of people are better and stronger than bigger ones.

Catching up on housework, cleaning and chores. I had a bunch of work on my car I needed to do, I'm slated to knock it out on my two days off this weekend. Virtue is its own reward. Clean your own house before worrying about others'.
Also, backyard plinking and range time.

Local conservative talk radio starts the day followed by Rush, Ben and Sean. Then, an evening with Commander General Jones. Then, The Great One and close it out with Ground Zero.
This is my only source of news. I’ve deleted all the news apps on my phone, including Breitbart, Fox, and OAN.
I turned off the TV a few weeks back. The first week I watched a Trump Peaceful Protest, but then switched to watching them on my phone. No TV. Big relief! Catching up on my reading and playing my one phone game.

Turn the TV off entirely. Torrent old movies like North Dallas Forty, Ice Pirates, Conan The Destroyer, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, once in a while. Check news aggregator sites to see what's on top, but don't go to "news" sites. Get some exercise, go for a walk, work on something.
