I’m wondering too why Trump needs to be at the forefront of every battle. What is the rest of the Republican Party doing.

Don’t misunderstand me, pedes, I love Trump, but when his style is to keep all the spotlight on every single issue on himself, then that would be just a terrible idea.

Not scalable! Where are the 2-3 smart and articulate members of the Trump administration who are fierce fighters for what’s right?

You are correct!! They are coming for your children, and we must handle it. If we don't, not only will our kids be lost, but the country as well.

54
_ra247 54 points ago +55 / -1

Not to downplay any of the great points made above, but I feel like homeschooling with like 5-10 other children in the neighborhood - forming your own mini school, mini community, with your own sane curriculum - will cut the legs out from underneath what is clearly luciferian satanic bullshit.

The world isn’t a safe place, I don’t think it’s supposed to be, but I’m hoping for the sake of my children I’m charting the right course for them to navigate these realities

24
2020voter 24 points ago +24 / -0

I think you are correct. Schooling is a parent's responsibility, not that of the state. We have allowed them to take this away from us, and taking our kids as well. Your idea is excellent!! Peace, Pede

The little monsters in the media decried the "inequality" and "supremacy" of those private pods where parents hired their own teachers instead of the worthless public school creatures.

2
ikuyas 2 points ago +2 / -0

We should take action together.

50
tombombadil 50 points ago +50 / -0

This is Fairfax County just outside of DC. It’s where the Deep State lives. Home of the CIA headquarters and the beneficiaries of the military industrial complex and trillions of tax payer dollars each year. There is no GOP here. This is the county that is largely responsible for turning VA solid blue.

I know this school well and it used to be the pride and joy of the county school system. The kids that get into that school are on another level of smart. It was all science and tech focused, but we obviously can’t have that in the New Blue Virginia.

They have been the subject of “controversy” lately because their admissions testing doesn’t have any affirmative action rules. Back when I was in high school, their racial make up was something like 65% Asian, 30% white, 5% other (mostly Indian from what I observed). I wish I could say it surprises me that they buckled under the pressure and are now going to become a racist indoctrination camp, but it doesn’t surprise me at all.

This place is becoming the leftist capital of America. Fairfax County. Remember it. These are the unelected officials that work in DC. This is their vision for the rest of the country.

I’m doing my part in VA but I’ll be getting out of here if I don’t see change during Trump’s 2nd term. Like California is doing, this state will eat itself if it keeps going in this direction. It’s getting to the point where it feels immoral to live here.

14
_ra247 14 points ago +14 / -0

“Feels immoral to live here”

Damn that hit me hard bro. That’s God’s hand on your shoulder guiding you, don’t ignore it

12
tombombadil 12 points ago +12 / -0

Thanks man. I really feel it. I know I sound like a wuss when I say this but moving will be the hardest thing I’ll ever do. I’ve been here my whole life. My immediate family, my jobs that I love, and my social life are all here. But I’m getting to the age where I feel like settling down and raising a family, and I just don’t think this is the place to do that.

If I were to meet God today, what would I say to Him? Governor Northam’s comments about post birth abortions should have been the last straw. I’m funding a government whose leader believes in killing, not just the unborn, but fully born babies. Now, for the past six months he has not allowed anyone to attend Mass on Sunday. I wish I had left long before COVID ever happened.

It's part of "One Fairfax" - sort of like bussing 2.0. The single republican on the school board a couple of weeks ago on WMAL said it this way. We have 2 failing schools in fairfax but instead of addressing the problems, we are going to ship the entire county around, and hide the problem by spreading it everywhere.

5
tombombadil 5 points ago +5 / -0

Well Comstock was a dope. When she went never-Trump - my pals were emailing her directly telling her to not bother asking for money or their votes. You would think someone 'smart' enough to win a house seat - would know when to just keep their mouth shut or wait a couple of days. But Nooooo!

Just watch, the entire State of VA will be deep red on Nov 3. Then a gizzion votes will pour out of Arlington (I think that place is a hot bed of voter fraud), Fairfax will tip blue a little, but not by as much, Loudoun is Blue thanks to all the brainwashed Indians, Chester (Richmond area) is a hive of Dems too. And then the State will tip and the Russia, Russia Russia freak Warner will keep his seat. It's really hard to imagine anyone vote FOR Biden - he's such an obvious incompetent at this point. Too bad we don't have something like the electoral college on the state level for our State wide seats. Jefferson missed the boat on that one.

Test scores are racist, obviously

4
ivan_iii_of_russia 4 points ago +4 / -0

Nope; not gonna happen. Test scores are being universally phased out in favor of more arbitrary metrics, like extracurriculars, college essays, and "creating a diverse student body". It's been a trend going on for some time now, and Covid-19 is only making it faster. Many universities don't require SAT/ACT this year, and many won't ever go back. In California, a judge out-right ruled that public universities cannot take into account SAT/ACT at all this year.

Meanwhile, College Board and the SAT/ACT will almost surely emphasize leftist ideology more and more. In other words, their test scores won't go down because Critical Race Theory WILL BE on the exam.

1
Herecomedatpresident 1 point ago +1 / -0

Then college will become increasingly irrelevant except to social elites, whose success will be increasingly more like a ponzi scam. And the country will continue to become further divided by those who have common sense and those who swim around in the system.

Report any federal employee, federal organization, or any other organization which receives federal funding (this includes Fairfax County public schools) which is engaging in critical race theory (or anything similar) to [email protected]

Critical race theory is banned from the federal government and from federally funded organizations by executive order

The OMB director has appealed to the general public for assistance on this matter: https://twitter.com/RussVought45/status/1306386119412641795

31
Trampus 31 points ago +32 / -1

Ironically, magnet schools were created to make public schools more attractive to white parents and retain white kids in public schools in the first place. The Asian numbers are probably coming from nearby Annandale, VA which has a large Korean population. If you account for the fact that Annandale’s Koreans are virtually right next door to this school, the racial breakdown seems to be what you would expect based on IQ.

22
fskfsk 22 points ago +22 / -0

That's the problem any magnet school faces. You don't get the "correct" diversity distribution percentage.

Admitting people for affirmative action can be harmful. They wind up being the worst students in the school, and they get frustrated.

15
HungNavySeal300Kills 15 points ago +15 / -0

Schools practice segregation under a different name.

Regular Honors Pre-AP AP

My school ruthlessly enforced this academic separation and it cleanly segregated the school.

We'd have a classroom watching Bill Nye science videos while next door a former professor would be calculating the mole weight of atomic compounds.

You would be learning and suddenly hear huge bales of shrieking and pandemonium from the Regular class next door. We'd shrug and ignore. It's just how they act.

In case anyone gets me wrong, this wasn't a white apartheid paradise. I had classes without a single white person present besides the teacher, but also no black people whatsoever.

Asians probably made up 30% of the school, but they fought like their lives depended on it to get the best education they could, cause they do, all our lives depend on it.

2
ArdentGrasshopper 2 points ago +2 / -0

all our lives depend on it

Maybe in highly hierarchical societies, like in Asia but in the US? Nah. Blue collar jobs can provide you with a decent living and there's no huge social stigma (and you can include the IT sector in that, as there's no hard degree requirements, you just need the skills).

2
viVbiz-bufmu1-qodmem 2 points ago +3 / -1

Interesting different perspective. I bet it has to do simply with exposure.

Those Asians busted their ass. Many still went down the blue-collar path. Nothing wrong with getting the best education possible and ending up a plumber.

Our lives depending on it is a bit extreme, but perhaps all lives are better when you try hard at everything you do, don’t take things for granted and take education seriously.

2
ArdentGrasshopper 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nothing wrong with getting the best education possible and ending up a plumber.

Very true.

1
HungNavySeal300Kills 1 point ago +1 / -0

If that was the only option for an Asian person (someone who is being raised well), they would crush every welding project and crawl through that attic to attach the pipes like their life depended on it, cause it does, all our lives do as well.

We've been split from purposeful work through demoralization.

This isn't a white collar blue collar point. This is people given the same opportunities, who grabs it with their whole family behind them? Who walks in the door from high school, welding school, whatever, and the whole family, grandparents to little cousins come up and say, "How can we help you do better? Are you doing your best?"

This is the winning mindset. Music, TV, Film, newspapers, popular fiction, all of this crap is designed to demoralize us and uninspire us from seizing the future.

Homeschooling is the answer. Only engage with society when it's time to dominate it.

2
ArdentGrasshopper 2 points ago +2 / -0

Homeschooling is the answer

I also highly value homeschooling, despite ending up not going with that all way.

with their whole family behind them?

This is why being a meaningful parent instead of a transactional one is important. But this is up to each individual.

I wish Jordan Peterson was not ill, he is extremely effective in explaining all this shit to the normie crowd. It sucks Trump, Chris Rufo and a handful of academics like Peter Boghossian, Gad Sadd, etc. are the only ones taking this on. We need more people to speak out about it, it's fucking disgusting.

1
sun_wolf 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not sure about that. He folded during the Kavanaugh fight, and outside of feminism and pronouns, he never really backed Trump on anything, and usually subtly endorsed the mainstream talking points (he is bombastic, dumb, rude, crude, tweets too much, doesn’t reflect on his decisions, etc.). I think the most positive thing I saw Peterson say about Trump in the corporate media was, “A lot of people like him.”

Or when he says he stayed awake for three weeks. So... he broke the world record? Okay, sure. Then he had a glass of cider and it laid him out for a week. Un huh. That was when he was rewriting every sentence in his book 100 times each. Okay. That’s not how writing works but whatever.

Fairfax County parent here. It won't do any good to complain to them. To hide their inability to provide academic excellence they've stated that their goal is diversity. Fairfax County teachers have been attending critical race theory seminars for weeks, and inviting speakers like Ibram X. Kendi to speak at high cost. TJ is a Governors School, not FCPS, but it's all the same beast. The real solution is homeschooling or private schooling, apprenticeship, and integrated communities which aren't controlled by a government agency. This is already happening; the internet obsoleted the public schools, it's just taking people a while to realize it. Maybe some day the public schools will be the best place for children to spend their early years, but it's not something you'll see in the next couple of decades.

10

MrStep 9 points ago +9 / -0

Absolutely right.

The County Board just had "hearings" for comment on their plans to erase county / Virginia history (remove civil war statues, plaques noting battles, etc.) as well as 2A rights - restrict firearms transport and carry (like, you could get arrested for having bought ammo, driving home and driving by a pop-up riot that would have needed a permit - so not only permitted events, but ones that should have had permits - and just having gun parts or ammunition now would make you "guilty" of a crime.)

That the School Board is also Communist is a given. It's really aggravating to watch. They don't care that they're trampling on our rights, they'll get elected again with the deep state government here anyway.

13
ignorant_slob 13 points ago +13 / -0

I could also spot the TJ kids a mile away. It was funny how to ask them if they went to TJ before they told you and be right. Insanely smart, like they were destined to be a MIT/Stanford professor smart. What a shame to destroy a school that produced such talent.

2
viVbiz-bufmu1-qodmem 2 points ago +3 / -1

I think it’s more a sign of the time. If it’s at TJ, it’s everywhere.

13
TownesVanCamp 13 points ago +13 / -0

We have two of these types of schools in Jacksonville. My daughter attended one. It was run by a corrupt South African whom who bragged of her relations with Mandela. She was seen accepting cash to re-admit students after expulsion. Almost a certainty that this school is run and operated by communist and corrupt imports.

3
viVbiz-bufmu1-qodmem 3 points ago +4 / -1

TJ is historicaly been an amazing public/magnet school that graduated all types of alumni. Without knowing just how good of a school it is, it’s easy to think there are others. But really TJ was solid for 30 or so years.

Now, It’s hard to say they are more or less corrupt as anywhere else. But to say this is happening there shows where the watermark is. And that’s scary.

2
TownesVanCamp 2 points ago +2 / -0

There are other schools like it I assure you. Stanton prep in Jacksonville is one. It has been consistently ranked in the top 20 of high schools and very recently has been no 1. The metrics by which these schools are graded promotes corruption by third world leadership.

Idk how are majority population begins to allow racism against its self? Imagine going to Pakistan and starting white lives matter. And teaching that if you ain’t white you ain’t right in all of their schools and institutions. Then burning and looting everything anytime one of your white brothas commits a crime, resists arrest and gets shot for it. Wonder how that’d go over.

2
sun_wolf 2 points ago +2 / -0

Or if white Christians owned every news company, newspaper, magazine, book, and movie produced in Israel. And then all of them pushed the same message: Israelis are inherently and irredeemably flawed and must be replaced by third world Africans and Arabs. And this was all promoted and pushed by “fellow Israelis” who were actually all just white Christians who changed their names to sound more Jewish. It’s not Jack Johnson reading the Israeli news, it’s your favorite fellow Jew “Hutzpah Silverstein”. In tonight’s top story, “The problematic history of Passover and why one good Jew (actually white) is standing up against this hateful indoctrination in our public schools.”

This is not even an exaggeration. This is literally what is happening in every white nation. Whites are just accustomed to the abuse so we take it in stride and blow it off. It isn’t obvious how insane it is until you reverse the races.

"Under current admissions standards, Asians make up 68% of Thomas Jefferson High School students. 21% are white, while 2% are black or Hispanic respectively."

White's are a fifth of the student body but will still be deemed undesirable and shrink in number to make way for low-IQ brown and black students.

People who studied critical race theory should be denied employment.

In future news: Thomas Jefferson High School, once rated as the best in the nation, has closed down. Reasons cited include low graduation rates, numerous campus crimes and the building itself being constantly damaged due to mostly peaceful student protests.

Thomas Jefferson High School in Virginia

plans to...embrace critical race theory

Not going to be 'Thomas Jefferson High School' for long...

BLMadeMeRaysis 2 points ago +2 / -0

"rated best in the nation..."

Not anymore.

I played against their academic teams in middle school at national competitions. That school and Longfellow Middle School in Virginia were the 2 powerhouses in the National Academic Championship system. However, the games I had against Thomas Jefferson High School were mainly when I was on academic team in high school.

This is the last school that I thought would fall for this bullcrap. Watch their academic teams collapse!

Watch their percentage of Asian students who actually work drop, and the school's output drop. It will be hilarious.

2
tombombadil 2 points ago +2 / -0

Fun fact, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters attended this high school before it was a STEM school.

"...rated as the best in the nation..." Not no more, honey.

I am a teacher in this county. Can confirm that the whole district has gone in 100% on BLM, critical race theory, equity, antiracism...all of it. What was once one the best places to live, work, and learn will only be so for a short while longer.

I strongly advise all parents to monitor their students' online classes- particularly English and Social Studies. Document everything. Do not be afraid to question, criticize, or condemn the divisive ideologies being forced into the classroom.

Northern Va here. They are also changing admissions to be lottery based for students with a 3.5 instead of on straight merit. Its 70% asian now.

This is going to be HUGE. There is a whole competitive afterschool tutoring industry that until now, have been teaching the TJ admissions test. I guess theyll study how to be blacker instead.

He needs to have Betsy Davos ban CRT from all public schools. Like, NOW.

Ryan Long made a great point about this: when it comes to the Marxists/Communists hijacking movies, music, and TV, they are literally seizing the means of production and redistributing the wealth. As individualists, free market types, and just normal people, we all thought, “If they want a gay or Muslim superhero so bad, why not create one?”

But communists don’t think like that. Communists don’t create. They want to seize these established companies and these established characters and then tell other people what to do with them. “Oh, Captain America is black now.” And the guy writing and drawing Captain America is like, “I don’t want to do that. Why?” And the communist orders him to make Captain America black. And the artist hands over the paper and pencils and says, “Fine, then you make Captain America black.” And the communist says, “No. I want YOU to make him black.” That’s sort of the key part in this. The communist doesn’t want to do ANY of this shit themselves. They want to force US to do it all for them. It’s the leechy nature of their tactics we sometimes forget, because they make so much noise and complain so much it sometimes seems like they are full of this drive and passion. But no. Zero drive to learn any skills. Zero passion for anything they create. And if somehow a communist actually sat down and created and drew their own comic about their lesbian Muslim superhero, that entire process would probably end their communism. Suddenly they would become attached to the work and feel the same things all us normal people feel. Suddenly they wouldn’t want the state coming in and saying, “Yeah that’s great she is lesbian and Muslim but why isn’t she obese? Make her obese.”

This is absurd. I spent several years in high level IT staffing and TJ High School was something that top engineering programs looked for on resumes alongside colleges like MIT.

I also live in Northern Virginia. Those kids of ALL RACES that apply to TJ work their asses off. This is an insult to their hard work and determination.

2
n3IVI0 2 points ago +2 / -0

Then it won't be the best anymore will it? It renders meaningless the hard work of everyone who ever graduated from this institution, or who worked their butts off getting admitted under the old standards.

Why does Trump seem like the only person in government who can be bothered to fight anti-white indoctrination?

Simple. Because GEOTUS has an army of Secret Service agents to protect him, and your local school administrators do not.

This madness needs to be stopped and fast

1
wethedownvoted 1 point ago +1 / -0

Because not only do you lose your job for opposing it, you also lose your job for not supporting it.

Trump is taking an enormous risk. If he loses, they are going to come after him with the vengeance of 10,000 fatties scorned. He needs another 4 years to get the pendulum swinging back the other way.

1
misterLahey 1 point ago +1 / -0

rated as the best in the nation

Best when compared to government schools.

That's an important distinction. You can stack the curriculum and college acceptance stats from several dozen if not hundred independent schools against TJ's and TJ would fall well short.

Plus TJ parents tend to be assholes that raise maladjusted little assholes.
