To add to this, what really pissed off the property owners is that none of them have been back to their homes yet. The fire zone is still evacuated, so the first view they got of their burned-out property was during this photo op.
Imagine if your grandma died and the first time you saw her body was when Newsom was standing over her casket, declaring that “climate change” killed her. Same effect here.
