They are basically AOC duped types... far left Communists-in-waiting, the Government 'must take action' .... they are not moderate Dems or liberals by any means.

They believe the Earth will end in 12 years....

They march on Earth Day - (and toss 50 tons of litter on the ground at The Mall)

And they don’t realize we’ve been facing extinction in10-12 years for a long as I can remember. And I’m pretty fucking old. Old enough to remember Earth day in the the 1970s.

Waterworld in 94. Day after tomorrow around 2012. Yet the end of the world is still a moving goal post 12 years away.

It's like the horizon; always 3 miles away.

Or the sign at the bar... "Free Beer Tomorrow!".

I imagine that they’ve calculated this time range. It’s just long enough for people to forget and get suckered again. 24 hour news helps them saturate the message and there are no retractions. . . Not even a feigned, “oops, our bad”.

Told a zoomer family member about the 70's as we were discussing "climate change". I even showed her the Leonard Nimoy "In Search Of...The Coming Ice Age" episode. A real eye opener for her, she at least tasted the red pill.

I remember Acid Rain in the early 90s (dating myself) supposed to wipe most plantlife out by the 2000's. I wonder what happened. Y2K and mass extinction was another one...

Its interesting because each generation has something akin to "the Xir who cried wolf". Anyone who knows of the multiple fearmongering Armageddon in 10 years mania in their own history will be desensitized to any "actual" planetary risk. Lie to me once, shame on you. Lie to me twice and I don't believe a word you say (looking at you news media).

I remember as a young teen in school I had to give a speech and somehow got stuck with acid rain. I didn't understand the subject very well and didn't really care, all I remember about that speech was talking about drinking acid and the jokes after the speech about acid trips.

Anyone in elementary b school in the early 80s... Watched 'The Day After' on TV... Plus killer bees, acid rain, Chernobyl all mixed with nuclear holocaust any minute...

Acid rain was legit. It fucking sucked. Now, would it have wiped out the forests/plant life? I don't think so.

Once every 10-12 years. At least 4 times. It is really that serious, Pedes. a real crisis, that if we don’t stop now, will only repeat itself in 2030. Mobilize!!!!!
