"For it is by grace you have been saved-- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works--so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

If we were without sin, then we wouldn't need Jesus. We would already be in right standing with God and would be entitled to entrance into Heaven.

But we are not in right standing with God. We are all flawed, and we must all humble ourselves and bend the knee.

We are undeserving of His love and forgiveness, and yet he forgives and restores those who cry out to Him in sincerity.

And we wouldn't even seek Him out if He didn't draw us by His Holy Spirit.
