Child support is one thing. Alimony is a little different. Women want to be treated equally but then support systems like alimony that basically put men in slavery to them based on the ridiculously outdated notion that a woman couldn’t possibly get a job or support herself. Yet that overt sexism is enshrined in law in many states.
The state of Kalifornia, as fucked up as it is actually granted alimony to a buddy of mine whose ex wife owned a chain of hair salons. So the idiocy of family law takes it up another notch
