Greens who dont want to vote for trump may vote libertarian as the alternative but I doubt anyone in Trumps camp would just decide to vote for the libertarian candidate instead of him...
I think it's more if the libertarian was off the ballot they'd either write in, not vote, or vote Republican. Essentially this 'splits' the Republican vote the same way they ruled against the Green party over.
But of course they'll leave the Libertarian candidate on the ballot to steal votes from Trump.
