I'd say he took a turn after his Sweden visit. That's when he learned about real fake news. That also happens to be the time I started watching his show.
This was when i first found out about him as well. That was a huge red pill for me as well. I've always been Right but moreso Libertarian, live and let live, when i saw what the invaders had done to a previously peaceful and safe country it changed my tune big time, Philosophically i still believe in live and let live, but pragmatically you cannot allow people who want to actively destroy what you have by their very existence.
