When cooking venison backstrap is it best to sear then light smoke, or light smoke then sear?
I would say light smoke then sear
I don’t know if I can trust a vegan on meat advice

Sear last, and use a sweet bbq sauce for me please n thank you

Ya gotta smoke it first, once it get to a certain point (about 180 internal) it won’t take on anymore smoke.
