Huge opaque screens that surround you. Function mainly to keep you from seeing how others are voting, and prevent others from seeing how you vote, a right to privacy. Since such screens(especially in paper ballot regions that do scantron style votes) are already in place, social distancing is a lot more easily in place. It'd be bloody hard to infect someone on the other side of the solid wall if you sneeze. All the more, wear a mask if you are worried about sneezing or coughing.
Equipment tends to be spaced out if it's electronic voting machines, again for privacy. If two people can stand side by side in most situations, facing forward, and not worry about spreading a virus, then the machines that are normally further apart, have the huge privacy walls, etc are just as viable now as they always have been. Once more, if you are worried about spreading, wear a mask. (I understand they don't really do much, but it's the visual relief people look for.)
As for sanitation of everything, a poll worker could go around the machines from time to time to give things a quick wipe down. wipe the pens, ask people wash their hands before arriving at the poling place. Etc. (stick with standard regulations on public restroom use in polling places where one is available)
Quarantine is generally 2 weeks, so if you get sick not long before voting day, you should still have time to request an absentee ballot. But for the most part, you shouldn't need to worry about getting the batbola, so why stress going to the polls?
Go to the polls and vote November 3rd. It won't be any different than the last 200+ years of voting. Vote, let your voice be heard, and make sure nothing foul or fishy goes on.
