50 My state has mail in ballots only. When we had the primary earlier this year, you were required to select your party on the outside of the envelope. Notice the wording. I was neither, so I was unable to vote. Far as I could tell, past Gen. Elec. ballots haven't had any unique identifiers on the outside.
We haven't received our ballots for Nov. yet so it remains to be seen if they try anything like that this year.
