They literally do it to post online and virtue signal. Thing about virtue signaling is it doesn’t fly with the big man up stairs. If you are going to help or save a man from something you just fucking do it, you don’t yell out to everybody “hey everyone, I’m going to save this person! Watch how good a person I am!” You don’t do that in past tense after you saved the man either “hey everybody I saved that man! Notice how good a person I am!” If people notice, so be it, just don’t boast about it if you want browny points treat those as you would like to be treated and then keep it to yourself, goes for charitable acts too.
I know I summed it up, but God knows when you do a good deed and you will reap the rewards when your time comes, if you do it for personal gain, it’s not a good look.
