I have some small doubts about him, because of his ties to Romney, but he's been pretty consistent supporting conservative thought and principles his whole career - even when he's pissing people off, like when he was in Germany. He's got a certain "honey badger don't give a fuck" energy, which could be useful in swamp draining.
