Maybe they're slowly realizing that once hard left takes over, it will be a hive mind, and any quirks can be used to destroy people. Wicca and pegan is all based on old Euro religions so it's white -- thus can be easily seen as white supremist in the future.

Just my guess. Live and let live as long as they don't break the golden rules.
