I'm really afraid that McConnel will feel like he has to be consistent with his argument when Obama was on the way out. Consistency is fine when you're dealing with an honorable opponent, but there's no doubt in my mind that if the roles were reversed right now Democrats would ram through the most liberal crazy they could find.
