He was a friend to her. She wasn't a friend to him. After a particular 4-4 decision (which, since it was a tie, means the lower court decision remains in place, and in that particular one it favored the Left's viewpoint) while his seat was being filled, she remarked that it was a good thing he was dead or her side would have lost.
I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.
Still doesn't matter. No matter how cynical you are about politics it simply looks bad to celebrate death of people. It pushes voters away. There's nothing to gain except a shallow circlejerk.
It matters for votes though. When the left go out and harass people at restaurants it turns voters away.
I don't care that much there are bigger issues in the US currently. But it's worth considering what you really gain out of gloating in these situations.
I'd say killing countless children because someone calls them "inconvenient" is pretty cynical, and pushes voters away. That those children might really be in less danger tonight is definitely something to celebrate.
We aren’t them. We don’t loot. We don’t block hospital entrances. We don’t wish death on cops, we don’t celebrate it. It’s a politically opportune time for Trump, but she was a respected Justice, not by you, but she was a mother with a family.
Let's try to be civil here. A lady has passed. It will sort itself out.
Hundreds of thousands of baby angels disagree.
AMEN!
She and Scalia were good friends. She couldn't have been that bad. Disagree with her, but no need to demonize.
EDIT: I guess this guy is another liberal pretending to be a Trump supporter. LMAO

Per year
Wrong. MILLIONS. Unfortunately Ruth really pumped those numbers up.

Press F to pay respect...HAHAHAHAHA nah I’m just kidding
And?
Jesus Christ with a track record like that I hope she's suffering terribly in Hell.
Never celebrate death. I will celebrate the opportunity for put a good judge on the SCOTUS, though.
I'll sort you out. She was evil.

They would celebrate.

You apparently missed the Italians celebrating the death of Mussolini.
This is America.
I am with you, and agree with you, but where else can we all dance around the fire and say our opponents are doo doo heads?

Thousands of dead babies have entered the chat.

Millions
We have lost so much.
I agree. I wished her retirement; I wish some justice, I wish no death.
Fuck that old scab. She's being seared hard in Hell right now.
Too bad she led a life fighting for evil. She had the power to do so much good, but chose to side with Satan.
Satan has some special tricks up his sleeve for this one.
God isn’t real lol
I totally understand why you feel this way, but I hope she manages to make amends for her actions on earth.
God willing
Abortions were her claim to fame.
I do. She’s a pedophile.
She was more evil than the Devil.
.
Agreed. That’s what separates us from leftists keeping our souls intact.
