WHY ARE ROMNEY AND MURKOWSKI TRYING TO FUCK US?!!!

TBH If this wasn't Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and if it wasn't such a polarizing election. I'd actually agree with 2016 Mitch Mcconnell in waiting for the election to be called before announcing the Supreme Court Candidate. BUT These are the Dems. They wouldn't extend the Olive branch to us if it were us in the minority, so we shouldn't do it to them.

Basically Fuck the Dems and everything they stand for. Lets hope in 2024 they'll have reformed and kicked the swamp beasts and Commies out of their party.

I'm tired of the GOP being the only party to play by the rules.

This political power struggle will never be fair again until one side is no longer gaining an advantage by ignoring precedent. It's game theory, and I'm not smart enough to explain it further lol.

But Trump finally woke the GOP up to this fact, and we might get there soon.

YEP. The GOP have got to show the Dems they got teeth. No more pussy footing around and being the party that loses gracefully. If we want to see the Dems reform to a viable party, they gotta lose HANDILY on every front. Give them NO QUARTER.

Exactly. The Dems exploit the fact that Republicans are the law and order party. They come up with a million "feel sorry for us" reasons to do something and since conservatives actually have hearts, they give in. And look how they paid for it with the Kavanaugh hearings. Those should have never happened! Don't give in Senate Republicans!

Well yeah, I'm just saying if it was me and on principle It's what I do

But I'm also all for ramming the Democratic party with no lube. Bite the Pillow Dems, the 3rd Scotus nominee is going in dry.

Yes, we don't have to be the gentlemen all the time.

When Gentlemen are pushed to the Corner, they have to fight my friend. We've been pushed to that corner, so time to fight.

...which will reduce it to about twelve classical music DJs and maybe a few lapsed Episcopal priests

LOL Listen, 12 people in a party is better than 0. Although tbh I don't even think the Dems are worth reform anymore. I think if they lose in 2020, we're going to see some kind of commie party form and the Establishment try to exist, before the GOP become a one party party for a while, before a freedom party takes over.

I really do believe that I have set the Senate so when I leave, we’re going to be able to get judges done with a majority. It’s clear to me that if the Republicans try to filibuster another circuit court judge, but especially a Supreme Court justice, I’ve told 'em how and I’ve done it, not just talking about it. I did it in changing the rules of the Senate. It’ll have to be done again.

-Chuck Schumer, 2016. He stated out loud that he would have done exactly what McConnell did do, if the dems had been in the same position. Don't extend them any goodwill.

50 is all we need. I’m torn between doing it now to have a stacked conservative court for the inevitable election law suits or hold the vote for after the election to help some republican senitors in close states get re-elected. Either way a new conservative justice is going on the court.

If those senators wouldn't be reelected because of voting to confirm a new justice that just means they would be voted out anyway. Holding up the confirmation does nothing but give the dems more control.

Im praying you are right..........This is scary stuff, but its go big or go home at this point!

It will be exiting to see just how fast they are able to get Amy confirmed to the court!!

Hopefully they can fast track this thing and get it done in record time

There would be nothing better than Pence breaking the tie for Trumps third SC pick.

Senator Feinstein “Chatting” with Murkowski.

Sort of like how Lyndon Johnson "chatted" with people he was at odds with.

That old hag is as threatening as 20-year old dog with no teeth. Fuck Murkowski for bending over.

Romney is probably a secret pedo. People in Utah already sick of him over the impeachment thing. If he tries to grandstand on this nomination, I doubt he wins another election ever.

3
rebelde_sin_causa 3 points ago +3 / -0

Does he want to win another election ever? Or did he get elected to the senate just to be a thorn in GEOTUS's side

VoidWanderer 2 points ago +2 / -0

Is anyone running against him though? The problem with some of these people is they run unopposed and start acting like shit stains because they know they'll get the position regardless of what they do.

denshi 3 points ago +3 / -0

Because they're Democrats.
