Lion Ted is fully on the Trump train, and we need him to keep being politically incorrect and fucking up the Dems. He's also a shoo in for conservative senate floor votes. Just my thoughts.
We all know (R) Pierre Delecto from Utah will vote against whoever Trump nominated. Murkowski votes against Kavanaugh, so her vote is not guaranteed. If memory serves me correctly Collins from Maine was almost strong armed into voting against Kavanaugh. Those 3 alone would be enough to stop a confirmation, no?
It’s time to make our voices heard. Every Republican Senator needs to know that if they bitch out on this fight then they will never hold public office again. We especially need to target Senators who are up for election this November.
At this point if we don’t get a confirmation before the election, it could very well end up costing the election, or at least a majority in the Senate. I will never trust John Roberts to uphold the law, so we must have that 5th vote on our side.
If losing this fight costs us the Senate anyway, what’s the issue with threatening to vote out Republican Senators who refuse to confirm?
A vacancy in the Supreme Court + a guaranteed (thx to dems cheating) presidential succession crisis + a divided Congress (Rep Senate, Dem House) = Civil War.
We need one of these branches to be fully functioning and unified by Election Day.
