In the case of family members in that category, one of mine loved what he did so much that after he retired he went into the PMC world and between that and the military, has over 4 decades of operational experience ranging from time in the premier SMU to working for big name PMC. The idea that nobody likes war is not correct thinking - there are many who understand the necessity of it, of those a good number truly enjoy it - luckily, in my experience, those guys are on our side.
