Don't worry about it. Like any group - left or right - there are extremes and bad apples that give the rest a poor image. The others are definitely shills. (I mean, come on. These people seriously go out to protests dressed as Trump supporters to start shit. They'd easily engage in this.)

I'm with you 100% and fully subscribe to meritocracy. Pick the right person for the job, always.
