"Contact the Senator"? are you living in 1920? ALL contact is thru some 'call center' likely in India or "Outer Bora Bora". The Senator NEVER sees, nor hears anything you send. They ONLY listen to the Man with the Bag of Money

To get them to listen you would have to Violate Rule # 02 EEEKK !

Yes they do. Source: a family member works for US senators office. But just keep it simple. ā€œSupport President Trump’s Supreme Court pickā€ is enough and even if you write a 3 page letter/20 minute call that’s the message they get. They do track the calls, emails and letters. For stuff like this it amounts to a list ā€œfor and againstā€. It DOES make a difference if you’re in your state so you do need to provide your name and address. Doesn’t help to call other states. If no name/address they won’t tally it. Try to be polite and brief - even to Dems.

They DO discard anything from out of state. Unless you’re Jeff Flake and get ā€œconfrontedā€ by a paid shill in a DC elevator. They are (supposed to be) beholden to the constituents of their state.
