Why are you letting the left dictate your reasoning? Why does what they think matter at all? Do you trust John Roberts when the election is hanging in the balance to make that decisive vote?

How are you missing the big picture. The election is more important than the seat.

The seat is pretty damn important bud. We get this seat dealt with asap and it is no longer an issue. The public has the memory of a goldfish. Might I remind you that the left tried a bogus impeachment in an election year? Yea, nobody talks about that anymore. Get this seat.

A. The seat will decide who wins the election

B. Why are you thinking the left won't be fired up just because there is a free seat? If someone is nominated after the election, that will fire up the left because they have a chance to change things. If someone is nominated right now, there is no hope for them to change the SCOTUS pick, it's a done deal, they lost.

C. Who cares what the left thinks? They'll always be against Trump no matter what he does. To be honest, I hope they do riot over this, riots push people to the right.
