It’s a great song and tbh, I love Elton John‘S music, saw him live once, cheap seats behind the stage, but maybe the best seats because it was like 10 rows away from him at Phillips Arena. No frills, no bullshit, he just walked out on stage (on time, which is one of my pet peeves when an entertainer is an hour late for showtime). He and his band just walked out and played for 2 hours straight w/ only a 15 minute intermission, mostly hits, a few of the “from my new album” time to go to the bathroom songs, but even those were good. All around one of my favorite concerts. My mother though, hates this song because she says it denigrates Christians. Idk, I just enjoy his music and this was an accidentally perfect poignant song to be playing in that moment. Sorry for rambling, your comment just brought back a bunch of memories.
The name of the song is "Tiny Dancer" not "Ballerina" but the point remains.
I've been singing "Tony Danza" all these years and nobody has corrected me...
Shit, I always thought it was "Tiny Danzig."
Hahha...Tiny Danzing with a chainsaw should be a meme
