She's wrong. If the Democrats somehow manage to cheat their way into winning the Presidency and the Congress, they will add 4 seats to the SCOTUS, and pack it with liberal judges. They have already said this. I love Candace, but this is no time to relax.

It can only tie if Republicans don't nominate and appoint a replacement. Which is unlikely.
However, if they don't, then a bunch of lower court decisions will reach the SCOTUS after the election, there wont just be one lawsuit, there will be hundreds disagreeing with and contradicting each other from both parties.
The Supreme Court's decision is meant to settle situations like that, in a tie it only settles the one lawsuit they took up and very little guidance on the others. It would be a Constitutional crisis where there would be no clear legal route to who won the election. Even a pompous little shit like Roberts wouldn't attempt something crazy like that.
