Mostly because they are afraid of Trump replacing RBG with a far right nazi. Be vigilant.

This may be true and may also support the theory the DNC had her Arkancided now

Interesting theory. With the left calling for more riots over her death I wonder if that's really true. Riots do not help dems.

Not a chance. They still think they’re going to win on November and would have preferred Sleepy Joe & Kameltoe to nominate one of their own.

Well, if Trump and Mitch get it done before the election, and I think they can, they are royally screwed.

This is the best strategy. It will remove the SCOTUS seat from the list of issues that might motivate a leftie voter. It also demoralizes the left.

And it could throw a big monkey wrench into the democrats' cheating plans for the election.

Thats why we need to appoint a judge asap. Never expect the gOP to not snatch defeat from the jaws of victory though.

Good, their insanity will be on full display for all to see. “When your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to irritate him.”

eh these are people who were going to vote anyway. I honestly don't see how this impacts turnout on either side.

Not sure I follow. A dem who refused to vote for low energy joe will suddenly go "well shit...I need to vote joe now or else Trump will put another guy in.".

Which can be snuffed right out if Senate fast tracks a Justice confirmation. IF Dems attempt to stall this up until, or after, election Rep voters will also be energized because they won’t want to lose a potential Justice. What I am getting at is that a dragged out confirmation will energize both sides.

Damn good point. Probably why Trump is on it.

In this age of democrats playing identity politics, he needn’t necessarily pick a moderate. He can, and probably should, pick a solid conservative who is a female, minority, or both. This way we get a conservative that will destroy their ‘social justice’ claims if they attack the nominee.
