How do fines and fees prevent a vote? Felons can't vote, thats due to a conviction from a jury. Outstanding fees would be related to misdemeanors and such as far as i know.
Any Florida law pedes, feel free to chime in, I'm just not understanding.
Yeah, it didn't make sense to me either. The text did say 'former felons', which is not an actual thing AFAICT, so I'm sure it boils down to them attempting to get more fraudulent votes one way or another.
