Oh, I didn't mean the question literally - more "why shouldn't he" - but thanks for the citation. The wiki article was interesting. I think changing the law would benefit the nation because Trump could put his own picks in, and I generally think divided courts are better for our freedom, so an even number of justices would be ideal. Interested in hearing alternative opinions though.
