I'm trying to begin red pilling someone and one of the first things I need to do is convince him that Fox News is not a right wing news source (it's controlled opposition). He is taking me with finding evidence with stats about it and I'm certain I've read some, but need help finding them. Can you pedes help a girl out?

Tell your friend to turn the network on outside of the 8-11 P.M. block. This is a network that employed Shephard Smith until he quit. Chris Wallace is a total liberal, and there are several others. Everyone else tries to play the "I'M A REAL JOURNALIST WHO PLAYS IT RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE" role in 2020.

An extreme right wing network wouldn’t have cucks like Juan Williams as a part of their regular lineup.

I consider Fox right leaning, but they provide fairly accurate coverage, in my opinion. One thing to keep in mind is much of today's "news" is really opinion, conjecture, commentary, bias & framing, with varying degrees of actual journalism.

One approach to making sense of the news is to pick issues you care about and compare coverage from a variety of sources. "All sides" may be useful for that purpose.

This graphic shows the first 60 days of media coverage for the last four presidents. You can see that for Clinton the negative/positive was fairly balanced, slightly skewed against Bush, heavily biased towards Obama, and heavily biased against Trump. https://www.journalism.org/2017/10/02/covering-president-trump-in-a-polarized-media-environment/pj_2017-10-02_trump-first-100-days_0-06/

There was that survey about how much positive Trump coverage vs negative, Fox was 51% negative. Study may have been from Harvard? That should be enough for you to find the study but if you can’t find it let me know.
