The ideological difference between left and right is that conservatives believe in the importance of the family.
Libtards don't believe in the family, for them society is a collection of individuals. Because humans need a safety net, it follows that they feel the government should provide it.
You are a person with great moral courage, not only for keeping your beliefs in spite of the pressure. But also for following an ideology that is not tailored to disowned people.
But Trump's is also the ideology of meritocracy, success, and winning. You'd go through harder times at first, but eventually you'll make it. Be strong, fellow pede.

This, plus just think how much it would piss your mom off. Jk, but seriously your knowledge of what that kind of treatment does to someone is something that you can use to be better. Focusing on the joy of your own little family can go a long way to letting go of past pain and misery. Some of the best people/parents I know grew up in terrible situations.
Oh, Jesus. Your mom sounds like my grandmother. Except my mom was twice as "lucky" because her dad was diagnosed as a narcissistic sociopath and her mom as having bipolar and borderline personality disorder.
And my siblings and I all turned out great. My mom found God, got married, and worked her ass off to break the cycle of abuse. And it worked! We had a fantastic childhood, we're all still really close, my siblings and I are all married, I have kids, and my brother is expecting his first soon.
In some ways, my mom's utterly horrific childhood meant that she had a leg-up, because she had to be intentional about every decision. There was no falling back into complacent bad habits, because the complacent bad habit were straight up child abuse.
So don't be afraid of having kids, just because your parents were garbage. If you want it, don't let your abusers take it away.
More foster parents are always needed! And you'd probably be a really good one too, because you could understand where kids from complicated situations are coming from.

I understand your feelings re: inherited anger. I have my dad's irrational temper and I work every day to keep myself in check. My son keeps me motivated to be better. However, you know yourself best so do what is right for you. P.s. women have a hard time finding a doc to tie their tubes. My body my choice only when it involves murder I guess.
